Wellingtons Youth win out! BIG Lottery award to Tone Leisure

TONE LEISURE WINS FUNDING FROM ASA

Thursday, 13 August 2009 Tone Leisure has been successful in their application for funding to provide free swimming lessons for Over 60s and Over 11yrs at their Quayside and Ivybridge sites. It is anticipated that a block of 10 weeks will be provided. Ivybridge has been running a pilot scheme for Over 60s lessons since June which has proved both popular and successful (Tuesdays 8-9pm). FREE OVER 60s SWIMMING LESSONS AND SWIM SESSION

Monday, 3 August 2009 Ivybridge Leisure Centre, following a successful 5 week pilot scheme is opening up its Tuesday night 8-9pm slot to all over 60's. The current ladies attending swimming lessons will carry on with their ASA Instructor, Paula Bleasdale, who is encouraging them to "bring a friend along".
