The St. James Street Baths were originally constructed during the late 1930s, with the learner pool added at a later date. This facility is utilised for swimming lessons, schools, clubs and group bookings.

The facilities comprise of ;

• a main pool 25 yards x 12 yards
• a small pool 12.5 yards x 6 yards
• changing rooms (separate unit for each pool)
• reception areas
• a main pool balcony with seating for 100 people
• a meeting room

There is a public pay and display car park  adjacent to the centre
